Rather than herd our guests into set departure dates where you have to travel when it suits the operator, we offer small group travel advantages as well as ‘any day departure, with a minimum of two guests’. In today’s environment, being able to travel when it is suitable for you means you can now visit those places you’ve always dreamt about.

Our affair with Indochina began over twenty five years ago when tourism was in its infancy or non-existent. Today, the region is attracting greater numbers of visitors and for good reason. Indochina is friendly, diverse, exciting, and welcoming.

The scenery is wonderful, from beautiful coastlines to rugged mountains. The food is fantastic, reflecting the regional influences plus those of colonial masters – China, Thailand, Portugal, Holland, England and France. Safety and comfort are always paramount and travel in Indochina can be as comfortable and problem-free as travelling in any sophisticated part of the world.

Our experience over many years tells us that travellers prefer to have key elements, such as accommodation and transport, arranged for them, but retain flexibility when it comes to many of the daytime activities. Our guests appreciate plenty of free time to pursue personal interests, be it a special photograph, wandering through a market, or sipping coffee or a cool drink. This is the philosophy behind the style of travel detailed in IndoChina Journeys programs.

Naturally, price is a consideration and we endeavour to provide the elements of safe travel, worthwhile experiences, an unhurried pace, accommodation with charm and friendly service, knowledgeable and amicable guides, and an itinerary that highlights the best of each destination without breaking the bank balance. Essentially, as ours is a family run business we have been able to develop enduring associations with family run travel suppliers, guesthouses and hotels, boat owners, car drivers, restaurant and café managers, and others critical to supplying a worthwhile travel experience. This bond means you are assured of an enjoyable visit to our favourite destinations, at the right price.
 
An important point to make is that the programs detailed here are exclusive to IndoChina Journeys and result from over twenty five years of travelling and working in the region by Christine Pearson and Robert Fletcher, directors of the company. A great deal of care and consideration has gone into developing our itineraries. However, we recognise that our suggestions may not suit your ideas and interests, so we are more than pleased to custom design a program for you, or your group.
